In this thesis, we did some further investigations ahout manganese triacetate. Generally, it was composed of four parts: i) Synthesis of disulfides (2a-2f) by manganese(III)-induced thiyl radical reactions of N-phenylthiocarbamates; ii) Reactions of heterocyclic or aryl compounds with diethyl phosphites and manganese triacetate give phosphonated products: heterocyclic phosphonates (6a-6c) and aryl phosphonates (8a-8k); iii) Arylaldoximes (10a-10i) were synthesized by grinding under solvent-free condition at room-temperature. Insequently, N-(1-phenyl-methylidene)-acetamides (11a-11c) were obtained after the treatment of arylaldoximes with manganese triacetate; iv) Acyl hydrazines were treated with manganese triacetate, then got the corresponding arylamides (14a-14c) and diacyl hydrazines (15a-15c).The structures of all new products were confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS spectra. Based on these reactions, we also proposed mechanisms for manganese triacetate -promoted reactions.
