| Drilling tools are necessary tools of petroleum drilling engineering. Their property will influence penetration speed of drilling engineering. Appropriate use and select drilling tool of downhole will be propitious to drilling operation on high quality, high efficiency and fast during drilling operation. Select drilling tool is based on the work site inspection result of it. The inspection engineers inspect, analyse and research drilling tools on work site for distinguishing them according to their different level and type, and configure and use the downhole drilling tools reasonably for gaining match between downhole drilliing tools and drilling actual condition according as different type of well. The drilling crew analyse the failure and reason that were found from inspection, and determine correct resolved methods and preventive measures through establishment inspection technology of drilling tools , and through researchment and analysis them. The scientific reasonable repair technology and measure are confirmed through inspection and analysis for drilling tool connector. The different level drilling pipes are separated through inspection and analysis, and it is calculated that different type drilling tools will be used for well condition according as drilling tool level.The paper is based on analysis the main drillling operation blocks of No.1 Drilling Company Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau, and forms integrated evaluation method and criterion of drilling tools, which is extended for application. The good effect has been acquired through the actual application.
