The development of high speed machining and the invention of the high speed milling equipment and high speed milling cutter, make the high speed milling technology use widely. High speed milling parameters are the basic control variables of high speed milling process. Selecting high speed parameters rightly and rationally is important to ensure the product quality, improve processing efficiency and ensure the high speed milling successfully.The thesis based on the existing mechanism of high speed milling and high speed milling cutters investigation results, carries out the system of high speed milling parameters optimization based on genetic algorithms. The main research content is:Using the experimental of cutting force and roughness of high speed face milling cutter and high speed end milling cutter mill aluminium alloy and cast iron, analyze the rules of the high speed milling velocity, feed rate per tooth, milling depth and milling width to high speed processing. Use multiple linear regression method, set up surface roughness and the cutting force fluctuation models. Certify the regression model notability, and provide a reliable guarantee for the accuracy of function optimization.Based on the targets of productivity, manufacturing cost, surface roughness, cutting force fluctuation optimization model, according to research of the high speed milling parameters selecting restrict of work piece, machine, tool and safety, set up high speed milling parameters multi-object optimization system.Analyze productivity, production efficiency, surface roughness, cutting force fluctuation and multi-objective integrated optimization model based on the high speed milling performance experiments. Analyze the machine tool, cutters security and work piece restricting to the high speed milling optimization model, designate the extension of the milling parameters selection.Based on genetic algorithm for solving optimization algorithm and the advantages comparing with traditional algorithm, realize optimizing every target function. Using VC++ 6.0 and Matlab6.5 software associated programming method, designing the high speed milling parameter optimization system and research the accuracy by number of data iterative.Using the high speed milling parameters optimization system optimizes the targets of high speed face milling cutter and high speed end milling cutter process aluminium alloy and cast iron, carrying out experiments validate the practicability and veracity. The results show that the system of high speed milling parameters optimization based on genetic algorithms is practicability.
