This paper combines electrochemistry with heterogeneous catalysis technology in thebipolar packed bed cell, the electric nonconducting particle was replaced by the catalyst andheterogeneous catalytic reactions occurred in the electrochemical reactor. Combination ofelectrochemistry with heterogeneous catalysis is realized. Second oxidant O2,O3 and H2O2produced from assistant reactor bipolar packed bed cell in the fuction of catalysts istransformed to be hydroxyl radical·OH and hydroxyl radical·OH decomposes organiccompound. The oxidation efficiency of second oxidant is intensified.The cheap metal oxide catalysts are produced by dipping meature and the effect ofcatalysis activity is reviewed by content of vivid metal in the dipping solution, dipping time,calcination temperature and calcination time. The results of study on phenol used as the object,H2O2 as oxide realizes: the sequence of catalysis activity from high to low isCuO/ZnO/γ-Al2O3>CuO/K2O/γ-Al2O3>CuO/γ-Al2O3>Fe2O3/γ-Al2O3>CuO/CeO2/γ-Al2O3.The COD remove efflcience which catalyst CuO/ZnO/γ-Al2O3 catalized oxidization of phenolis 79.52% and the decomposition efficience of H2O2 is 97.04%. The active component ofFe2O3/γ-Al2O3,CuO/γ-Al2O3 and CuO/ZnO/γ-Al2O3 has serious losing after ten-time use.The COD remove efficience of five electro- heterogeneous catalysis reactor in the use ofthe sieved catalysts in H2O2 oxidation has the following descending sequencefrom:electron-CuO/ZnO/γ-Al2O3>electron-CuO/K2O/γ-Al2O3>electron-CuO/γ-Al2O3>electron-Fe2O3/γ-Al2O3>electron-CuO/CeO2/γ-Al2O3. This sequence is the same as the one ofH2O2 oxidation. The sequence of the current efficiency of each reactoris is the same as the oneof the COD remove efficience.highest and the electrochemical energy consumption isopposite to it.The main approach of phenol wastewater decomposition is directelectron-decomposation and indirect heterogeneous catalysis. Thereinto, the course ofheterogeneous catalysis oxidation is analogized by heterogeneous catalysis oxidation, thatis·OH produced from assistant reactor bipolar packed bed cell in the fuction of catalystsdescomposed organic compound.
