The preparation of BPA catalyst(most activity with zeoliteβ) was researched in experiment. In all the molding, including the ratio of water to power, the dosage of SB and nitric acid were considered to find the best condition for the catalyst' intensity. The activity of molding catalyst was tested in the alkylation and transalkylation simultaneously. The results showed: the molding condition had influence not only on the catalysts' intensity but also on the catalysts' activity. In the experiment, the BPA and QZ-2000 was reviewed together to comparing the capability between them. It showed the BPA had a better capability than the QZ-2000. It provided the reliable data for the transalkylation to realize industrialization. The acid proportion on surface of modified was characterized with NH3-TPD and the hole distributing was characterized with N2 adsorption. The BPA catalyst was modified with different Lanthanon. to constrain the byproduct NPB. XRD and physical absorption results showed that there were no obvious influences in framework and pore structure compared with customary catalyst. NH3-TPD curves showed that both the acid sites quantity and intensity of modified catalyst had been decreased compared with former catalyst. It was shown that modified catalyst performed good activity, while the content of byproduct decreased sharply below 300ppm, especially restrained the increase trend of byproduct in higher temperature. It achieved the standard of the industry. In this experiment, the byproduct TIPB was studied in the alkylation too. The content of TIPB increased along with the temperature rising in the lower ratio of benzene to propylene. It was necessary to change the experiment condition to reduce the TIPB's scale. First, the different ratio zeolite of Si to Al was composed. Then the modified zeolite was used to investigate the byproduct's distributing. The last measure was to changing the ratio of benzene to propylene. The result showed, the production of the TIPB have a great connection with the temperature. The content of TIPB creased along with temperature enhancing and depressed with the raito of benzene to propylene increasing.
