The Experimental Study Of The Struvite Precipitation In Treatment Of Ammonia Nitrogen WasteWater

With the development of agriculture and industry. The discharge of ammonia-nitrogen wastewater is rising. In China, at present the treatment of wastewater is still a difficult task, as a result, the technology in this field has a broad future.In this paper, based on the study of a great number literature, the ammonia nitrogen removal by means of struvite precipitation was studied. Through using ammonium chloride to make wastewater, simulating the wastewater of ammonia nitrogen. The kinetic parameter from pH, the amount of precipitator, temperature, action time, the combination of precipitator, the concentration of ammonia nitrogen were studied. Based on the defined most favorable condition of the action., treatment of the landfill wastewater,monosodium ion exchange wastewater, carbonize wastewater by this method were studied. The conclusion were as followed:1. The struvite precipitation is effective in treatment of high concentration of ammonia nitrogen wastewater.Under the most favorible condition, the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen can comes to 95% above.2. The suitable concentration range of ammonia nirtrogen wasterwater is above 500mg/l.3. The struvite precipitation has a favorable efficiciency in treantment of landfill wastewater, monosodium ion exchange wastewater, carbonize wastewater. The average removal rate can comes to 90%～95%. Meanwhile, it has a certain removal rate of COD and chroma.4. The struvite precipitation has extensive application form.The outstanding feature of the struvite precipitation is that it not only can eliminate the contamination, but also can reclaim the ammonia nitrogen. The product is a kind of slow released fertilizer, which has a wide market demond in the future.The equipment is simple,more facilitated. In the end of the paper, sugest further study in the application of struvite precipitation. Meanwhile the engineering application should be studied in detail in the future.
