Supramolecular chemistry of fullerenes has been a new orientation for the development of fullerene chemistry. Assembling novel fullerene supramolecular architectures with interesting structures and properties by non-covalently intereactions, especially by hydrogen bonding, has attracted much attention. Synthesis of novel fullerene supramolecular architectures assembled by hydrogen bonding and their efficaciously assembly with functional materials are remarkably meaningful. This will play an important role in exploiting new fullerene-based materials and developing the supramolecular chemistry of fullerenes. This thesis is focused on designing novel fullerene supramolecular architectures and studying on the synthesis of its assembling precursors.1. The synthesis of the assembling precursors, which promisingly construct novel fullerene supramolecular structures assembly by six-point hydrogen-bonding interaction, were studied. The monoadduct of fullerene dithymidinyl maloncate derivative containing double DAD type hydrogen-bonding motifs (total yield: 49% ) and 2-amino-4,6- di-(4'-thiol- benzen-amino)-pyrimidine with double DAD type hydrogen-bonding motifs ( yield: 66% ) were obtained. Their structure were characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, ESI-MS and DSC-TGA spectroscopy.2. The reaction between the monoadduct of fullerene dicarbonyl chloride and (NH2)2C=R (R=O, NH) were studied. The product was the mixture of fullerene polymer and the monoadduct of fullerene malonate with tow (NH2)2C=R (R=O, NH) groups, which were characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, and DSC-TGA spectroscopy.
