982 milk samples were collected from Holstein dairy cows in 7 farms of Huhhot suburb during 2005 to 2006. Milk Somatic Cell Count (SCC),fat, protein ,lactose , total solid , total bacteria, viscosity, density, electronic conductance, Koestler number ,Thorner (○T) ,pH, chloride, potassium, sodium, total calcium, free calcium ion, phosphorus and ash were determined. The results showed that the content of protein was much significantly positively related with SCC(p <0.05,2005) (p <0.001,2006). The content of lactose was much significantly negatively related with SCC(p <0.001). The quantity of electronic conductance, Koestler number were much significantly positively related with SCC(p <0.001). The content of fat, total solid were highly significantly positively related with SCC(p<0.001,2005). The content of sodium was much significantly positively related with SCC(p <0.05,2005) (p <0.001,2006). The content of chloride was much significantly positively related with SCC (p <0.001). The content of free calcium ion was much significantly positively related with SCC(p <0.05). The content of ash was much significantly positively related with SCC(p <0.05,2005) (p <0.001,2006). The quantity of viscosity was much significantly positively related with SCC(p <0.05,2006). The quantity of viscosity with CMT was much significantly positively related with SCC(p <0.001,2006).Total bacteria, density, Thorner (○T), pH ,Eh, potassium, total calcium, phosphorus had no relationship with SCC.During investigation from May to October in 2005,The mean value of milk SCC were the higher in May and September, were 78×104/mL and 96×104/mL, respectively. The mean value of milk SCC was the lowest in October, was 28×104/mL.The proportion of PMN was much significantly positively related with SCC(p <0.001).
