It is becoming more and more important to apply and develop high quality PEspecial resin for tubings. This paper introduced the development of high quality PEspecial resin for tubing with hexane as co-monomer by traditional manufacture process.This paper systematically studied, analyzed and proved the structures of thisspecial resin, such as the molecular weight and molecular weight distribution, contentand branched degree, the category of co-monomer and the quantity of tie molecules, etc.It was also compared with the same foreign resins. Its performance indexes were similarto the foreign resins.The processing performance of this special resin was good. The pipe made fromthis special resin exhibited better performance in the hydrostatic strength tests than theforeign PE80-grade ones. This special resin had past the PE100-grade authentication bythe international authority authenticating institution.The high quality PE special resin for tubing was favourite by the customer after itwent into the market. It had made much economic results and social results.
