| The condensing operation is the advanced technology of the UNIPOL gas fluidizedbed technics in China. The advantage of the technics is using the least cost to make themost income.The LLDPE reactor of the QiLu Co. was enlarged by ourself, and the reactor wasstarted successfully at 10:28 in 8th October 2004. Subsequently, the catalyst was addedto the reactor, and eligible product was obtained after 10 minites, indicating theself-improved reactor was operated successfully in the first time. The cryogen wasadded to the reactor at 9:00 in 3th November, and the reactor was turned to theoperation of condensation at 16:00. Itwas found that the static was smooth, that thetempreture of the wall of the reactor and density of bed was in a good state, and that thequality of the product was good. Fulfilling the high-load production to 15t/h, the highestdesign ability of the reactor was obtained.Aider the successful nmning of the reactor for some time, however, a series ofproblems were found, such as, fluctuating of the loop of tempreture, difficult to controlthe quality of the product, jam-up of the distributing board, difficult to add the catalystto the reactor, etc.. These problems resulted in the unstable run of the reactor. By ourunremitting strive and special tackle for the key problems, the stability of the loop of thetempreture, the quality of the product and addition of catalyst were improved largely.However, the problems of the jam-up of the distributing board and the aggregation ofpowder production were not still improved very well.This thesis investigated the effect of the kind of the cryogen, the temperature of thedew point, switch of the condensation mode and the concentration of the cryogen on thequality of the fluidized bed. Some measures were taken to solve the problem of thejam-up of the distributing board under the operation of condensation, and to analyse and optimize the operation of condensation for a longer period.
