1. Research on Hydrogen Peroxide Oxidation of Olefins Catalyzedby the 12-Tungstophosphoric AcidA series of olefins were synthesized, and then oxidated by hydrogen peroxide in the presence of 12-tungstophosphoric acid, hydroxyketones were obtained under these conditions.2.12-Molybdophopsphoric Acid Catalysis in the Oxidative Cleavage of Olefins by the Hydrogen PeroxideOxidative cleavage of the double bond could be catalyzed by H3PMo12O40 using H2O2 as oxidant, various trisubstituted olefins were oxidized to aldehydes or ketones in high yields. The system was not satisfied for electron-deficient olefins such as trans-(2-nitrovinyl) benzol or chalcone. The reaction of aliphatic olefins did not occur under the same conditions.3. Research on the Oxidation of Organic Halides in Ethanol byHydrogen PeroxideVarious primary and secondary organic bromides were oxidized by hydrogen peroxide in refluxing ethanol to give the corresponding aldehydes and ketones in high yields; organic chlorides were oxidized to the corresponding carbonyl compounds by the same oxidant in ethanol in the presence of 10 mol% of KBr as the catalyst.4. Asymmetric Epoxidation of Olefins Catalyzed by Chiral ImiaeThe catalyst was synthesized in seven steps from tartaric acid, the asymmetric epoxidaiton of 1-cyclohexenylbenzene using oxone as oxidant was studied.
