Di-(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene)sorbitol is the third-generation products of DBS, that's have good fogand smoothness, scaling and odor improvements can be used for any processing. as nuclear fragmentationand high efficiency, allegedly on behalf of the world for the development of transparent new level, will beefficient to improve transparency of PP will bring products to the taste and odor, Senior most appropriatepackaging.This paper contains information on how the system crude di-(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene)sorbitol, Ascrude product contains monobenzylidene sorbitol and tribenzylidene sorbitol, also need to removemonobenzylidene sorbitol and tribenzylidene sorbitol, and from the resultant isolated solid product anddrying and refined products.In the experiment, to 3,4-dimethyl benzaldehyde and sorbitol as raw materials in acid catalyst underaldol condensation reaction, Synthesis of di-(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene)sorbitol, and to study and discuss thematerial composition of the catalyst, temperature, agitation on di-(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene)sorbitol, whilethe existing technology base, how to improve the response to the main product ofdi-(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene)sorbitol melting point and the yield for a detailed inspection, Meanwhilecatalyst for improving the selectivity and activity, Inhibition of the formation of the final product and theseparation and purification of the corresponding area of study.Study found that 3,4-dimethyl benzalazine and sorbitol feed molar ratio of 2.0~2.1:1, acid catalysts,reaction solvent cyclohexane amount of response based on the 2.0%,580% (mass fraction), 6-hour responsetime, di-(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene)sorbitol products yield more than 70% melting point above 260℃. Thesynthetic method is easy to get raw materials, the process is simple, synthetic routes short, easy operationand low operating costs, higher product yield, short reaction time and other benefits.
