The serious sucker-rod wear exits in many polymer flooding pumping units in Daqing Oilfield, so that the pump inspection cycles are shorten, the production cost increases and normal production is influenced severely. therefore, the research on the technology of disposal of the sucker-rod wear in polymer flooding pumping units.In this project, the constitutive equation and the flow equation in eccentric annulus of viscoelastic fluid are established by the research of the viscoelastic fluid kinetics theory. The motion rules of the flow of viscoelastic fluid in oil pipe and pump barrel and the correlation factor which influences the magnitude of normal force are found. The relation between the magnitude and the velocity rate of normal force of viscoelastic fluid in different concentration and eccentricity of rod string is found firstly in domestic and broad, the conversion law is ascertained when the viscoelastic fluid flows the well bore ,pump valve and pump bore, that the reason for the sucker-rod wear mechanism in polymer flooding pumping units is the normal force of viscoelastic fluid is brought forward.Based on the above research, the measures about serious sucker-rod wear that centralizing the hole well, the third level pump (low friction pump) of large drainage, unifying the diameter of rod and rotating rod string are brought forward. Testified by the trials on 6266 wells in the Oilfield, the sucker-rod wear of pumping units is solved effectively, the economic benefit is prominent.
