Nature Gas is abundant reserved in our country and the world. It is a feasible resource for energy andraw material of chemical industry in the coming century. There is abundant reserve of Nature Gas ofDaqing Oil Field, the exploitation amount come to 20×109 m3 per year. Certain amount of isobutane wasinclude in the Nature Gas and was used as low price fuel. Higher economy benefit would achieve if it washigh transferred to methyl acrylic acid. The technology of direct oxidation of isobutane to methyl acrylicacid was developed in this paper. The new process is short which low down the investment of equipmentand reduce cost of production. Heteropolyacids and they salt with different hetero atom such as P, Si, Feand Co, and different center atom such as Mo, W, V, Nb and Ta was synthesized. The activity of catalystwas studied. The optimum compose of catalyst was determined. The influence of equilibria positive ion Cs,Ni, Cu and K on the acidity and oxidation performance of catalyst was studied and the optimum equilibriapositive ion was determined. The influence of neuter and acidity carrier such as SiO2, activated carbon, bentonite, ion exchange resin and diatomite on the performance of catalyst was studied and the optimumcarrier was determined. Reaction condition was studied on the laboratory equipment. The influence ofreaction temperature, pressure, space velocity and composition of raw material on the reaction activity andstability was studied, the optimum condition was determined.
