As the traditional media of information ,paper have make great contributions to the spread of civilization throughout most of human history ,but under the circumstances of information flooding , whether the paper as a media will fade out the historical stage ?The designer ,liken to a director, what can we do to make this old actor to be bursting with youthful energy ?We need to cognition the paper renewably from broader aspects in order to bring its formability into full play. Paper is just a carrier, but the designer vitalizes them.Through the exploration of paper sheet's inherent attributes and spatial pattern, the ability of modeling has been improved, by the agency of advanced printing technique. we can expanding the semantic expression of design at higher level, so as to enrich the perception of potential customer.Instruction of spatial pattern of paper sheet make a breakthrough that paper is not just a medium of printing the same as before . paper itself has been compassed into the information , utilize its spatial pattern to enrich the ways of semantic expression of printed materials, and thereupon improve the value of paper sheet in printed materials design process.As an application research paper, the author analyzing some problems that may appear in the application of spatial pattern of paper sheet in printed materials design process, and explore configuration of paper sheet from a variety of angels considering specific technology.
