The adhesive has been more and more important in all kinds of fieldsof industry and people's lives. As met with the request of environmentalprotection, adhesive without solvent has become the main trend. Hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene is a kind of special soft segment.Polybutadiene-based polyurethane has been found to have excellenthydrolytic stability, superior chemical resistance, good low-temperature characteristics and so on as compared with polyether orpolyester-based polyurethane. The purpose of the thesis is to synthesizea kind of high properties and environmental friendly polyurethaneadhesive, and to study the influence of formulas and structures onproperties.First, the main materials used in the study are characterized andit has become the good foundation for further study. Then, it issummarized of conditions and methods to prepare adhesives withoutsolvent during study procedure. The kinetics of main prepolymerizationand curing reaction have been tested by FTIR. Based on the opthogonalexperiment, the effect of some main factors and optimized formulationsof moisture-cured polyurethane and two components polyurethaneadhesives have been developed. The testing of pot life andthermo-stability has been carried out for the optimized formulation oftwo components adhesive.Finally, by FTIR,thermo analysis and phase contrast microscope etc.,the microstructure and phase of two components adhesives have beenstudied, and their aging behavior and reaction theories in the conditionof high-temperature and oxygenless and accelerated aging respectivelyrespectively are discussed.
