Time goes by, as entering the information era, the way people work and learn are changing silently, the rapid prevalence of computer and huge development of network technology have made the new way possible. Now we can work as long as we're under the network scope .long- distance office and mobile office have become another important form based on the traditional one, which is rather influential and changing our life style .Office has become a closely related part of our life, which is undividable, resulting in the birth of the home office furniture.In this paper ,stated with the development of working style and through the analysis of patterns of the existing working style, came drawbacks and development trends, use patterns of conduct to guide the design of SOHO furniture; Meanwhile, through the selection of the home and SOHO space, came to the next SOHO furniture design principle, including functional humanized, functional integration, ecological and intelligent, custom and semi-custom integrated design, as well as space furniture from analysis functional SOHO furniture, and several other forms and the future development of SOHO design requirements. Then summed up the methods of home office furniture design through some examples, raised the mold-block, self-help-type furniture design concepts, analyzed the module types and the ways to achieve. At last, had a design practice and summed up the future development trends of SOHO furniture design and the future direction of sustainable design.
