Dimethyl Carbonate is an important intermediate of green chemical industry for its innocuity and non-corrosion. It is not only a reagent for carbonylation and methylation, but also an innocuous solvent with fine performances, and widely used in many other industrial processes.Now the most efficacious way to synthesize Dimethyl Carbonate is non-phosgene synthesis. The way which is used by Sheng Hua chemical plant is transesterification reaction . In this process, we utilized the homogeneous catalyst to catalyze the process, but it is difficult to separate it from the mixture, to recycle the catalyst, and the corrosion of the equipment is hard. So the suitable solid catalyst is awaiting to be investigated. In the present paper, to replace the homogeneous catalyst, we design the heterogeneous catalyst to applied in the transesterification process. In the experiment, we compared the influence to the basicity of the catalyst with different carriers, different activator, and different baking temperature. And then, we validate the best catalysts we obtained from the above experiments through the transesterification reaction. The conclusion show the self-producing solid catalyst is high activity, easy detached, non-corrosion to the equipment, and the experiments bolster the next step-industrial catalysis.
