Benzene is an import petrochemical basic material which is produced from catalytic reforming gasiline and steam reforming byproducts.Only the benzene contained in the reforming gasiline must be cut out, the gasiline meets the gasiline-blending specification.There are two technologies extracting benzene from reforming gasiline,which are liquid- liquid solvent extraction and extraction distillation.Facing with high aromatic demand and variety in feedstork,it is ussally uneconomic to apply liquid - liquid solvent extraction technology.As another extrcting-aromatic choice,especially extrcting benzene, solvent extraction distillation technology aroused people's massive attention.This article introduces the application of Benzene Solvent Extraction Distillation technology developed by Petrochemical Science Research Institute in PetroChina DALIAN Petrochemical Company.The industrial results indicate the industrial application of the technology is very successful.The advanced technology with rational flow diagram and stable operation meets all design targets. The technology creates magnificent economic benefits for DALIAN Petrochemical Company,therefore can be applied in the same new-build units and expansion projects.
