The distribution of Germanium is very separate in the earth's crust, there is little isolated natural ore, they often dispersedly consist in silicate and sulf-ore of other elements. There is abundant Ge's resource in the lignite of Neimeng, it's grade is 375ppm and reaches the industrial grade of direct development.One factory of Ge usually takes up the methods of hydro-metallurgy and fiery-metallurgy to distill the Ge in the coal. The former recycle rate is high, but it's consumption of acid is great, the cost is high, the latter, they distill the Ge from the ash after the coal is burned, thus the cost greatly decreases, but the recycle rate of Ge is low, it is a waste of Ge resource.According to the lignite of this region, the paper puts forward two new ideas of Ge's distillation from coal. One is taking up the method of flotation to enrich the Ge of coal, the other is taking up the method of oxygen-burning in the low temperature to enrich the Ge of coal before they are soaked by hydrochloric acid. Accordingly two experiments project are set down to research the distillation flow of Ge from the coal, to explore the effective distillation method.First, in the floatation experiment, the grind granularity, the ore liquor concentration and the medical system are primarily studied, there is some effect of Ge's enrichment. Though because of the experiment condition and the limitation of time, the recycle rate of Ge is lower, the idea of flotation to enrich the Ge of lignite is significant to the study of decreasing the cost of distillation Ge from the coal.Second, the experiment of oxygen-burning in the low temperature is put up. Through the oxygen-burning in the low temperature , Ge of 95% is concentrated in the ash. Third, optimizing experiment of technics condition of distillation Ge from coal is put up, set down the technics optimizing condition of distillation Ge from coal: liquid:solid 5, the hydrochloric concentrate 7mol/L, the soaking time 90min, the distillation time 10min and adding up the oxidant MnO2. Through the test to the soaking remains, the recycle rate of Ge is 78%.After the oxygen-burning in the low temperature, the lignite is soaked by the hydrochloric acid to distillate the Ge. Comparing to the direct distillation Ge from the coal, reduces the consumption of acid, deceases the cost greatly,comparing to the fiery-metallurgy to distillation Ge, increases the recycle rate of Ge obviously. So the method of distillation Ge after the coal is oxygen-burned in the low temperature is perfect and promising.
