In order to verify the feasibility of laser welding for dissimilar steels, relative technology of laser welding is studied in this paper, together with the tissue and performance of welded zone. By deep welding test of 20G steel and 20Cr2Ni4A steel using laser, right performance and aspect is gained at welding zone for the welding of dissimilar steels, which is qualified by both theory analysis and field testing.The microstructure and mechanical characters are studied systematically, and the optimized welding technology data is confirmed for this kind of welding by further studying of the ration between penetration depth and bead width, and the variation of penetration depth. The results of testing and comparing of the metal tissues, composites, micro-rigidity of primary metals and phase wriggled are both indicated that the method of 20G steel and 20Cr2Ni4A steel laser welding is qualified: stretching stress of the welded zone is surpassed the primary materials, which is verified by mechanical testing.
