Hydraulic loom is one of the shuttleless looms which develop the fastest. It has bigger yield, can make better fabrics with less cost. However, it consumes a large quantity of tap water. There are more studies on the water supply of hydraulic loom and fewer on the treatment of the hydraulic loom wastewater, as a result, it's important to research and find the effective and reasonable treatment technology of hydraulic loom wastewater.This dissertation studies treatment effect of hydraulic loom wastewater by coagulative precipitation,biological filter and biological aerated filter.The results show that:Firstly, biological filter with lava as filling stuff has the best removal efficiency for organic pollutants(CODcr,BOD5). Biological aerated filter with lava as filling stuff has the best removal efficiency for ammoniac nitrogen. While coagulative precipitation has the best removal efficiency for total phosphorus (more than 76%). The water quality of the effluent of biological filter with lava as filling stuff reached the Discharge Standard(B of fisrt standard) of pollutants for municipal wastewater treatment plant of China which is put in practice in 2002, GB18918-2002. As a whole, the lava as biological filter filling stuff has a better effect than expanded clay.Secondly, coagulative precipitation shows good removal efficiency for CODcr and TP, more than 70% for the former and more than 75% for the latter. Contrarily, its removal efficiency for BOD5 is worse and no removal efficiency for NH3-N at all.Thirdly, with the rise of hydraulic load of wastewater, the removal efficiency of the biological filter for CODcr,BOD5,NH3-N and TP rises first and fall then, no matter with the lava or expanded clay. It demonstrates that there is one best hydraulic load or organic load for wastewater.The best hydraulic load is 9.80 m3/(m2·d) of in our test.Fourthly, the removal efficiency of biological aerated filter is better than that of biological filter for NH3-N.Through the study, we suggest that it is a good way to choose biological filter with lava as filling stuff or choose coagulative precipitation and biological aerated filter combinatorial technique to remove the pollutants of wastewater totally.
