With the development of economic, resource shortages and environmental degradation is the focus of modern countries . how to improve the efficiency of production, conserve energy and reduce pollution have become the most important issue for all sectors.In order to improve the production efficiency in industrial production, so as to conserve energy, reduce energy waste and reflect the emission of pollution to environment, various parameters closely related to production must be detected, such as temperature, pressure and atmosphere composition of production. CEMS (Continuous Emission monitoring System) is no other than a system which can detect the process of production and composing of the pollution .After theoretical researching, hardware and software exploituring, mechanical structure designing and debugging ,we excogitated a CEMS system, working in the atrocious environment, which settled the issue in abroad and traditional CEMS system. This paper have taken the rotary kiln siderite Roasting as research platform and analyzed the mechanic of controlling and operating for the rotary kiln . the research and analysis show that the CEMS is very important in smelter process . And wireless temperature detecting system of rotary kiln has been excogitated. Our CEMS system is consists of three major subsystems: temperature, pressure and velocity detecting subsystems for the rotary kiln and Smoke; the detecting subsystem of turbidity for the Smoke and composition of Smoke detecting subsystem. the each temperature and pressure of Kiln paragraph are an important indicator which are the reflection of effect about siderite smelting roasting process. And proposed wireless detection means to solve the shortcomings of traditional methods of detecting. the Pitot tube has been used to detect the temperature and pressure of gas flow, which was an important parameter of Smoke emissions. the detection means of monitoring Smoke turbidity and Smoke components all adopted the photoelectric detecting technic. We selected laser transmission detecting method for smoke turbidity, witch is the targets of Smoke dust content of Smoke emission. And Smoke component monitoring was adopted the technic of infrared light absorption spectrometry(IAS). the gas content of each component, such as CO, CO2 and SO2, which not only are the environmental indicators of pollution emitted in industrial production ,but also are the parameters ,which are closely related to efficiency of siderite Roasting, which are used as reference for optimizing producing process control .this three subsystems have composed our CEMS system.Through on-site commissioning, installation, operation, CEMS system have been come true for the entire production process applications. This CEMS system, which not only detected the environmental parameters of industrial production ,but also provided the indispensable parameters for improving process optimization, increase production efficiency and achieve energy savings.
