Nanoscale Ni/Fe Were prepared adopting chemical precipitation technique, and studies on catalytic dechlorination of Polychlorinated Biphenyls using the prepared nanoscale Ni/Fe were carried out in this paper. The BET specific area of the parcels was 46.251m2/g and the average grain size was 52.21nm characterized by N2-BET. The concentration of the PCBs and chloride ion were determinated by GC-ECD and ion selective electrode. The optimal condition, which was initial pH 2.0, Fe particles 0.4g, 40℃, 10%Ni on the iron and 2h , was obtained by taking L25(56)orthogonal experiment. In the optimal condition, the maximal degradation efficiency of 79.6% was obtained. The effect of the initial pH of medium, the mass of Fe0 particles, the percentage of Ni on the Ni/Fe and degradation temperature were observed in the paper. Results showed that the lower initial pH, the lager mass of the Fe0 and percentage of Ni on the Ni/Fe, and the higher degradation temperature were good for increasing the degradation efficiency.
