Roll forming process is a complicated process, the advanced high strength steel got a more and more extensive application in recent years, having a very high hardening rate because of that material, making it model iner common use low carbon steel plate of process to increase a difficulty, especially how to control the springback of sheet metal, have become a crux that roll forming process the advanced high strength steel.The FEA is acquire more and more applications in the Roll forming process, that method usually can get a better result, but the springback of the problem result to the processing for simulating resule really not enough ideal usually, the reason is various, simulation method to exist and fulfil among them reasonable of place, this should be a deserve improvement of place, usually the thick stresses of new shell element is smaller,it is neglect, but the Cape part of roll forming to exist big flection to transform, analyzing enunciation to exist in that part bigger thick stresses, so develop a kind of consider thick stresses shell element is a meaningful work.This kind of consider thick stresses new shell element, nears to really stress and strain of the roll forming process because of its mechanics model,the contingency appearance, as a result simulating roll forming process with it to then near to an actual circumstance more,sheet metal process to simulate more truely,is a foundation of roll forming simulation process, It will provide a basis for the control of springback of roll forming of sheet metal.The paper deduces the formula of the new shell element form selecting element respect, use fortran to process programming of the user definition element(UEL).
