As China's rapid economic and population surge, shortage of water resources has become a constraint for sustainable economic and social development.Based on the principles of sustainable development and the status of China's water resources, urban sewage recycling, pollution control and water conservation is our country's water resources development and utilization of the basic national policy. The application of reclaimed water in urban area has became an important way of solving water shortage, improving the effective utilization of water resources and increasing facilities Waterscape. However, compared with natural rivers and lakes, the eutrophication more easily occurs in landscape water body supplemented by reclaimed water. This article includes two parts:(1)Research on Characteristics of Eutrophication with time in Urban Landscape Water Body only Supplemented by Reclaimed Water; (2)Research on Characteristics of Eutrophication with space in Urban Landscape Water Body only Supplemented by Reclaimed Water. In the first part, the study focused on the algae growth characteristic at different TP concentrations in landscape water during different seasons. In the second part, the study focused on the city-circling water system of Hefei by investigating the vertical distribution and variation of phosphorus, nitrogen,DO and pH in water bodies. This study result provides a reference for the algae bloom control and management in urban landscape water supplemented only by reclaimed Water. Results are as follows:(1)The result shows that the key factor influencing the algae growth is TP concentration in spring, summer and autumn, and then changes to the algae species and quantity existed in landscape waters in winter.Different seasons should take various measures to control algae bloom.(2)In the urban landscape water supplemented only by reclaimed water, the concentrations of TP,NH3-N and PO43-P increase gradually with the depth increasing, while pH and DO decrease.Cyanophyta and green alga are the primary species that caused the alga bloom, mostly concluding Microcystis aeruginosa and Oscillatoria. What's more, the paper points out some shortcomings of the research and problems for further research make prospect to the research direction for the future.
