Commercial pure Aluminum has been widely used to manufacture components with better conformability and corrosion resistance because of its excellent ductility.Anisotropy of rolled sheets produces unsmooth surface called earing on the cup edge,which decreases production yield and utilization rate.In this research,the anisotropy of deep-drawing 1100 commercial pure Aluminum sheets produced by three different annealing processes and its relationship with earing rate were studied by means of tensile test,cupping test,microstructure observation and texture analysis. Numerical simulation of earing was carried out during deep-drawing process and the simulation results were compared with the experiment results.This paper explored a research route for deep-drawing material productive processing in the aspect of high precision and provided references for quality control in enterprises.Mechanical properties(σ_b,δ)of plate were obtained by tensile test and cupping test,which met the requirements of 1100-0 commercial pure Aluminium sheets.The results were fitted by the distribution function and the index of anisotropy was calculated in order to find the relationship between anisotropy and earing rate.The analysis demonstrated that the anisotropy of plastic strain ratio agreed with the earing effect and the earing standard using thick anisotropy index fitted into the rule of experiment.It clarified causes of anisotropy and earing of the last two processes through microstructure and texture analysis.The decrease of the main texture density made the texture distribute more randomly,so the 0°/90°earing changed into the less earing rate of process 3,which was lower than 2%and satisfied the requirements of the finished product.The earing behaviors of deep-drawing sheets were simulated by user-defined parameters of 36 material model type in Dynaform software.The simulation results were in agreement with experiments on the eating position and earing rate.It can reach the precision of simulation by optimizing other parameters.The thinning law during deep-drawing was analyzed,and influencing factors of earing size and orientation(distribution of plastic strain ratio)were found out by thickness distribution.The evaluation foundation in anisotropy of rolled sheets was obtained in this paper,meanwhile the relationship between anisotropy and earing rate was studied,and the numerical simulation of deep-drawing process was researched.The research provides technical basis for further study on decreasing the anisotropy of plate.
