The nature gas pipe network steady analysis, mainly focusing on the design of nature gas pipe network, analysis of various behavior and decision on the optimal plan of reconstruction and expansion, is the basis of designing, evaluating and managing of pipe network system. The relation between pressure loss and flow is nonlinear in nature gas pipe network, which makes the loop equation or node equation is nonlinear in the analysis of the pipe network system. Therefore, it is very important to adopt the proper algorithm based on the characteristics of the questions. This thesis reviews the research on the nature gas pipe network steady analysis at home and abroad, and elaborates the methods of analyzing nature gas pipe network through the study on mathematical model of node equation.Newton-Raphson method, Quasi Newton method, Monte Carlo method and homotophy method are also introduced and employed in this thesis to solve the mathematical model of node equation in an instance.Newton-Raphson method and Quasi Newton method are relatively sensitive to initial value, so the calculated results from the lower times Monte Carlo method are utilized in this thesis as the initial value of pressure to improve the two methods, which proves that it is better way to obtain the initial value by using Monte Carlo method in the nature gas pipe network steady analysis. And through the comparison of these different algorithm, homotophy method is thought to be the most proper algorithm in the nature gas pipe network steady analysis.
