Ventilation stereogram and network diagram are the most important basis for the decision-making of mine ventilation safety management and evaluation, however, the modeling of three-dimensional tunnels, and the automatic establishment and management of the topology relationship of ventilation network are the bottleneck technologies for the popularization and application of computer in the mine ventilation of our country. Therefore, study on the automatic drawing method of ventilation stereogram and network diagram has significant value both on science and practical application.At present, the three-dimensional tunnels' modeling and application are the hot but difficult points in the research of mine GIS. The layout design of tunnels in mine is closely related to such factors as coal field scope, coal seam obliquity and existing available condition of mining, the design scheme should be complied with the practical condition. Tunnels are one of the main objects of mining production research. Whether the tunnels' design is good or not directly affects many aspects, such as safety production, transportation, ventilation, drainage and power supply.Based on the achievements of predecessors' research, the thesis has mainly analyzed and compared the present methods of three-dimensional tunnels' modeling. According to the characteristics of the ventilation stereogram, the data model of tunnel is simplified, the modeling method of tunnel is improved and the algorithm of drawing tunnel with high efficiency is put forward. The shape and size of the tunnel are not the research emphases, the tunnel sections are looked as same rotundities and cylinders are used to describe the tunnels instead of using the real shape in the method. The three-dimensional tunnels are displayed dynamically and the spacial positions of tunnels are displayed accurately, by the use of OpenGL. The alternative visual angel of the tunnels allows one to observe them in any direction. Based on three-dimensional tunnels, the dynamic drawing of ventilation stereogram has been achieved with the automatically drawings of the ventilation structures, ventilators, and the air quantity and direction of node.In the past, the establishment of mine ventilation network topology relationship is that the beginning and end node of network diagram in tunnel were artificially labeled, which formed the corresponding data file or database. In view of this situation, this paper mainly researched the principle, algorithm and data structure of automatically drawing network diagram, and has achieved automatic generation of network graph in VC++.NET by programme, under using the knowledge of computer graphics and graph theory. The system is simple and convenient for operation and interaction, and also contents with the practical application needs. The successful developing of this software does great benefits for the mine ventilation safety management and evaluation, and plays an active role for the automatic and modern foundation of mine ventilation management.
