The groundwater flow and solute transport in the fractured media is an important research aspect in pollution of the groundwater nowadays. The study on water flow and solute transport in a cross fracture of roughness has important instructional significance on deep underground projects, prevention and cure of groundwater pollution and geologically treatment of radionuclide waste. Based on the study about water flow and solute transport in the fractured media at home and abroad, we study and analyze water flow and solute transport in the cross rough fractures. A set of experiment equipment simulating groundwater flow and solute transport is designed. Here we performed the test simulating groundwater flow and solute transport in the cross rough fracture. The flow characteristics with low velocity in Single-in Double-out cross fracture of roughness has been studied. A preliminary investigation about the solute migration in the experimental flow condition has also been discussed. The conclusions are drawn as followings: (1)The velocity of flow is not linear with pressure gradient any longer and square relation appeared. (2)The power expontial relationship between unit discharge and the hydraulic gradient is showed as q = KJ~m ,and the value of m increase with the increase of relative roughness. The inertial force do a very important effect on the flow in cross fracture with roughness when the Re values from 1-10,which have the same view with Iwai(1976).(3) A summarize about the distribution of the flow through the intersection point has been concluded. Conclusion that there are three stages about the bias flow and establish the mathematical relationship for each stage. (4)It's difficulty for ADE equation to fitting the BTC of the experiment. Then the M-IM equcation is well used in fitting the solute transport. And successfully fitting the experimental model using M-IM equation ,which displayed in Cxtfit2.0 code .
