Lack of water resources and the contamination of water resources are common problems brought about by today's city construction. With the rapid urbanization in our country, more and more residential areas have been built, whose water consumption and water sewage emission have been increasing. The residential areas, scattered in location, are unlikely to collect their sewage for centralized treatment through city pipe systems. Therefore, to build the residential area sewage treatment system and apply the reclaimed water in the courtyard greening, road cleansing, car washing and landscape use is considered to be an efficient measure to solve the above-mentioned problems. Reclaimed water, as a technique with sewage treatment techniques at the core, chooses proper integrated techniques for advanced treatment to guarantee the quality of reclaimed water. This paper illustrates the bio-treatment and ozone advanced treatment of the secondary treatment of sewage.As whether the treated water has a stable quality and whether or not the secondary pollution will occur are major concerns, the research and development on on-line monitoring apparatus to have an on-line monitoring of the water quality is a useful way, which makes the efficient quality control system with regular monitoring methods. The paper describes the way of making a reclaimed water quality on-line monitoring system, the COD on-line monitoring apparatus for instance, studying the principle of the controlling system; automatically complete the functions of water sample collecting, analyzing and data transmitting; develop the on-the-spot monitoring software; complete the functions of monitoring system data collecting, alerting, consulting, report statistics and printing. Through the efficient making of the hardware and software systems, the real-time control of water is guaranteed to meet the demands of the quality of the reclaimed water.This paper describes the quality guarantee system of on-line water quality monitoring system through technique design and operation control by combining with the real case of campus sewage treatment system. In addition, through contrast and blank assay tests, the accuracy and reliability of on-line monitoring data are guaranteed and the quality of reclaimed water is also assured.
