Carbon Nanofibers(shorter form CNFs ) is one kind of new nanomaterial which has a diameter of 50nm-200nm. Carbon nanofibers has the property of low density, high ratio modulus, high ratio strength, high electrical conduct, high thermal stability etc. as normal carbon fiber, besides, carbon nanofibers also has the advantages of low defect, long ratio diameter, big ratio surface area, structure compact and so on. It would be widely used in electromagnetic shielding material, electric conduction compound material, catalyst carrier and so on.Firstly, the text briefly introduced, the nanomaterials'basic concept, its character, the ways to make it, on this basis, we treated carbon nanofibers' distinct property and application potential, and its current situation of study. Secondly, the text recommended carbon nanofibers' defect and the problems to work out,expounded our research'target and sense.The carbon nanofibers' surface modification was the first point in this text. In allusion to the carbon nanofibers' lack of polar functional group, We used tacidizing method. The experiments showed that the surface modification could improve carbon nanofibers' surface capability, promote the interface bonding, enhance the composite materials' property. Besides, we discussed the mechanism.The carbon nanofibers composite material' electrical property was the second point in this text. This text was centered around carbon nanofibers composite material's resistance-strain sensor property ,so the electrical property was an important part which should be considered and solved. In this text,we tested carbon nanofibers composite material's electrical property's transformation with a series of composite material, which with differnt content of carbon nanofibers. Furthermore, we researched acidizing' s impact to the electrical property. Contemporary, we studied the mixture effect of carbon nanofibers and acidic graphic. The experiments showed that: The carbon nanofibers composite material' electrical property was excellent, and the same to mixture effect of carbon nanofibers and acidic graphic. The carbon nanofibers composite material' s resistance-strain sensor property was the third point in this text. The reseach to carbon nanofibers' sensor property was the ultimate goal of our experiment. Firstly, We briefly illuminated the importance of reseaching sensor property, the way to test resistance-strain effect, and then we researched carbon nanofibers' sensor property's influencing factor with every sides, found a proper way to make ideal carbon nanofibers composite material sensor consequently. The experiments showed that : the composites' sensor property were better than else when the content of carbon nanofibers in epoxy resin was 6wt%.
