The Three Gorges engineering is trans-century big institute of water conservancy and hydroelectric power junction engineering. Although it produces enormous profits in flood control, power generating, shipping, aquaculture and water supply, it produces the water environmental protection is in the crucible of it. After the water level of the Three Gorges Reservoir rising to 135 meters, it has been discovered that there appears the phenomenon of eutrophication to varying degrees in the backwater section of part of first-level rivers, which has aroused the general concern. The prevention and control of water eutrophication has passed through difficult courses from controlling nutrients, directly algae deletion to the bioregulation, the ecological engineering and the bioremediation and so on. The bioremediation technology is a breakthrough water remediation technology, which is rising in the world. It has some significance of using for reference in the prevention and controlling of water eutrophication in the Three Gorges Reservoir.Phytoremediation technology with low-cost, good economic returns, landscaping and other features has obvious advantages in many governance measures for eutrophication. It based on the theory that plant system can bear and accumulate excess a kind of pollutant or some pollutants is a pollution abatement technology by eliminating pollutant by means of system of plants and its micro-organism. This paper has made a study on the emerged plant remediation technology in eutrophic water bodies of the tributaries of the Three Gorges Reservoir. By the way of simulating natural water bodies in the manual simulation pond, I has carried out the experiment in two nutrients degree with low, heavy respectively, and with three kinds of methods: typha angustifolia, schoenoplectus lacustris, and typha angustifolia + schoenoplectus lacustris. By monitoring each water quality index and the biological indicator, the three aspects have been analyzed, including the purification effects to the different water bodies of three kinds of methods with different plants, the connection among eutrophication relevance factors, the dynamic process of removing the total nitrogen(TN), the total phosphorus(TP) by plants, meanwhile, and economic benefit had been analyzed separately. This experiment is divided into two stages: the first stage (6.26-8.22) and the second stage (8.22-9.28).The experimental results indicate that, the three methods of typha angustifolia, schoenoplectus lacustris, and typha angustifolia + schoenoplectus lacustris can effectively remove TN and TP, restrain algae and improve the water transparency:â‘ At the first stage the average removal rates of TN were: 85.88%, 89.41%, 87.40%, the average removal rates of TP were: 93.64%, 92.97%, 84.00%; at the second stage the average removal rates of TN were: 94.11%, 97.85%, 95.94%, the average removal rates of TP were: 95.96%, 97.68%, 97.52%.â‘¡Schoenoplectus lacustris restrained algae most effectively, and the low degree did not take place water bloom.â‘¢The results of three methods to improve the transparency of the water were different, the effects in order were: typha angustifolia + schoenoplectus lacustris > schoenoplectus lacustris > typha angustifolia. The total nitrogen(TN), the total phosphorus(TP),pH and the chlorophyll-a had a remarkable positive correlation basically, and other factors was not obvious. The dynamic process of each experiment way removing the total nitrogen and the total phosphorus meet the cubic fitting equation curve. The economic evaluation of the emergents had been made at the end.
