In the textile industry, low-end loom is not popular any more. With the development of electronic technology, using intelligent warp tension control system is the international trend of high-performance loom.This thesis tries to develop a new warp tension control system using SOPC technology,Firstly, this thesis analyzes the current condition of embedded system and warp tension control system.Secondly, brings up the control method based on CMAC-PID and the filter method based on FIR.Simulates the two methods using Matlab and C, prepares for the next step of realizing them using hardware description language.Finally, the thesis describes the realization of the system in detail, which includes data exchanging between the two Nios processors, hardware controller, signal filter and data interface realized using Verilog HDL, BLDC driver, HMI operation and Ethernet communication.What's more, A method of hardware designing is brought up: Matlab simulation→C simulation→Verilog HDL realization.
