The abradbility of GCr15 steels surface laser cladding Ni powder is studied in this paper. Ni powder is preseted on the surface of base metal by preseting layer, different parameters of are used in laser cladding test, parameters are optimized, and the optimal laser cladding processing parameters are achieved. Based on this , by using optical microscope,SEM,XRD,TEM,Rockwell hardometer and friction wear testing machine, the distribution of alloying agent,metallic phase structure,microstructure,surface hardness and frictional wear character are studied systematically.The experimental results indicate that laser cladding Ni powder has good wetting property, can gain cladding layer in good quality. According to XRD, after laser cladding, besides original Ni sosoloid, CrB and Ni4B3, Ni3Si and Cr0.19Fe0.7Ni0.11 phase are formed, CrB and Ni4B3 reduce also. The cladding layer of no crack and blow hole can be gained by modifying laser power and scanning speed, and metallurgical bond with basal body. When the laser power is 1600-2000W, scanning speed is 250-300mm/s, crystal development of cladding layer is uniform, regular. Frictional wear test shows that the abradbility of cladding is higher than parent metal after laser cladding.
