A new adenine-containing derivative of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene—5,11,17,23 -tera-t-butyl-25,27-bihydroxy-26-(1-(9-adenineyl)-propoxy)-28-bromopropoxycalix [4]arene(AC)—was synthesized and characterized by IR,EA,~1HNMR,ESI-MS spectra.The interaction between AC and nucleotides or bases was studied via UV-Vis spectra and the results showed an obvious molecular recognition of AC to uracil and uridine.In existence of other nucleotides or bases,AC can recognize uracil and uridine from them.
