Heteroaromatic polymers have many prominent excellent performances, and are with a wide range of applications. As one kind of the heteroaromatic polymers, polyquinoxalines have broad potential application values because of its unique and excellent performance with a wide range of potential applications. With the starting point of "simple, cheap and high purity of the monomer" as, taking the requirements of environmental protection into account, this study has designsed and synthesized new heteroaromatic polymers --- polyquinoxalines, maintaining the materials of high performances; On this basis, this study has also carried out a series of experiments to effectively control the molecular size. The principal contents include: It is a first successful operation to use the simple, safe and inexpensive two-step synthetic route to synthesize the high purity monomer; a series of new polyquinoxalines has been successfully synthesized, which are of good dissolution performance, high temperature performance, strong acid-base corrosion-resistant and good optical properties, and these performances offer the new polymers the possibility to be used as special heat-resistant material, the protection coating and membrane materials. By controlling the monomer ratio of the input,this study has done a series of experiments to effectively control the polymers of different molecular weight, which provides a proven method to improve the performances of the polymers; Moreover, this study explored a method, by which we can change the structure of monomer to synthesize a variety of new polymers.
