Swine wastewater has considerable amounts of non-stabilized organic matter and high concentrations of ammonia, nitrogen and phosphorus. In order to assess thefesibility of membrane bioreactor treating swine wastewater,we carry out a lab scale experiment which was designed by ourselves. We investigated on the effects of MBR with three different phases and compared the situation of sludge withdrawal with without sludge withdrawal.Based on condition which was controlled,we found out a best situation. The results of the experiments show that:1.After compared the result of three phases,we found the third phase can obtain the best result.Under condition that DO of 3mg/L,HRT of 16h in the hydrolysis acid reactor,HRT of 26h in the MBR,MLSS of 10mg/L and SRT of 30d,the average removal rate of NH4+-N,COD,TN is 97.8%,93.7%,90.8%,respectively;2.MBR held an ability to resist organic shock loading. After high organic shock loading, the reactor can comeback to originally state which has a good removal rate.3.MBR can maintain high biomass concentration by separating biomass from the treated wastewater, but under the situation of without sludge withdrawal, the treating effects and stability of the system became poor. So,withdraw sludge is in the favor of improving the removal efficiencies of TP' and reduce membrane fouling.4.Volumetric loading is one of the important parameters for MBR.Under the condition of the experiment, the NH4+-N volumetric loading is reached 0.5kg/m3d.5.By adjusting the sludge concentration in the MBR reactor at its 10g/L~12g/L, Can effectively reduce the pollution microfiltration membrane,And make microfiltration membrane cleaning interval kept more than 60 days.
