Research On Gasification Of Coal Catalyzed By Molten Salts

A miniature-testing device with coal gasification by molten salt was designed and constructed in this work, and based on the test in laboratory and theory, this work made a deep research on the molten salts gasification characteristic. Temperture, coal type, CO2 flow, catalyte type were considered in the experiment,and the main factor and the best value range were confirmed. Because of not understanding the molten salts catalytic mechism, the kinetic parameters were obtained by using the kinetic models with the experiment results, then established single ball Preliminary model. In this model, diffusion and chemical reaction kinetics in the molten salts gasification process was considered. Compared the experiment results with model results, there are some difference between them, but the model results showed the characteristics of molten salts gasification reaction in certain degree, and had high value of theory and utility.
