In this study an economical and effective photocatalytic oxidation desulphurization technique is described aimed at the H2S pollution of our country.The photocatalytic oxidation technique has brought extensive attention because of its low energy consume,mild reaction condition,simple technique and manipulation and decreasing secondary pollution.First,photocatalytic activity of outsourcing and self-made nanometer TiO2 was compared in the same reaction condition.And the results showed photocatalytic activity of outsourcing TiO2 was better than that of self-made TiO2.In the condition of aphotic,the reaction of photocatalytic oxidation didn't happen.And in the condition with light but without TiO2,the reaction of photocatalytic oxidation didn't happedn either.When the light and the TiO2 existed in the same time,the reaction of photocatalytic oxidation had happened,and the velocity of reaction was faster.Effects of reaction elements on photocatalytic oxidation were studied,such as the condition of mading TiO2 and the term of reaction.The research results showed that the efficiency of photocatalytic oxidation of H2S increased from 77.1%to 82.3%when the dipping-lilting times increased from 1 to 2,but when the dipping-lifting times increased from 2 to 3 or more,the efficiency of reaction was almost the same,or even a little decrease.The longer of the dipping time,the higher of the efficiency of the reaction,but when the dipping time was more than 120 minutes,the efficiency of the reaction almost never changed.When the combustion temperature was 400℃,the efficiency of photocatalytic oxidation of H2S was the highest,and the efficiency was decreased when the combustion temperature higher or lower than 400℃.When the initial concentration of H2S was below 610mg/m3,the efficiency of photocatalytic oxidation of H2S increased with the increase of the initial concentration of H2S,While in the range from 610mg/m3 to 1337.6mg/m3,the efficiency was not significantly affected by the initial concentration of H2S,and the efficiency decreased a little with the initial concentration of H2S.In the range from 0 to 120 minutes,the efficiency of photocatalytic oxidation of SO2 increased with the increase of reaction time.But when the reaction time was more than 120 minutes,the efficiency of the reaction over the lower concentration of H2S(below 608mg/m3)was jarless,but the efficiency of the reaction over the higher concentration of H2S (above 608mg/m3)was decreased with the increased of reaction time.The efficiency of photocatalytic oxidation of SO2 was increased with the radiation intensity of the ultraviolet light.And when the ultraviolet light's wavelengh was 256nm,the efficiency of the reaction was higher than while the ultraviolet light's wavelengh was 365nm.And when opened the fan,the efficiency of the reaction was higher than when turned off the fan,and the time to the reaction balance was lower than when turned off the fan.
