The precision about the measuerment of the flow rate for crude oil is very important for state energy resources,economy development and the yield of oilfield. Based on the former team work and experiences, developed a new apparatus for the measurement of the flow rate.Moreover, a lot of experimentation had been done in Gudao oil field.Firstly, the influences of the configuration about hydrocyclone separator, size and configuration about foam destroyer and baffle plate on separation effect for gas and liquid was studied.Besides, better configuration was ascertained,and optimum capacity was gotted respectively,this data is very important for the design of the components for gas-liquid separation.Secondly, the influences of liquid volume,water content in crude oil,level control of water and oil,retention time on separation effect for oil and water were investigated. Furthermore,mathematical model which based on plug flow was builted,therefore ,it can be a design consignment to supervise the separator design in future.Besides, the criterion of separator and pipe design process,and choice standard of flowmeter were studied,it is also very importent.In the end,six separators were installed on CB26,B701,KD34C,KD48,CB1F Offshore Drilling Platforms and M5 oilfield metering station in Jidong Oilfield respectively, the accuracy and stability gained authorization.
