Hexafluoropropylene epoxide is an important intermediate for synthesizing organic fluoric materials.At present,liquid-phase oxidation of hexafluoropropylene shows most promising perspective of commercialization.But there are some problems related to this process such as the usage of improper solvent,which will leads to the troubles in control and a low selectivity of product.In this paper,the synthesis of hexafluoropropylene epoxide by oxidizing of hexafluoropropylene in solvent was studied.Firstly,the influence of some new solvents like FC-36,FC-45,FC-27 and FC-25 on the reaction was investigated.The results indicate the FC-36 exhibit a better performance.The usage this solvent make the reaction gentle and the selectivity of products improved.Subsequently,the effects of solvent ratio,oxygen ratio,reaction temperature and the ratio of feeding in raw material on the reaction were also investigated.It is found the higher conversion of the hexafluoropropylene and selectivity of the hexafluoropropylene epoxide can be achieved under proper reaction conditions.The kinetics of hexafluoropropylene oxidation has been studied under four different temperatures.The reaction is an order of 1.The activation energy is 80.91kJ/mol.A reaction kintic equation was presented as follows:(-rA)=1.383×1010exp(-8.091×104/RT)cAO(1-xA).
