According to the whole process Mo wire producing, focus on the influencement of the raw material on the process and the properties of molybdenum wear products. And studied the relationship between Mo rods and Mo wire on the various physical and chemical indicators and the genetic change law. Aim to improve the adaptability of the technology and raw materials and to control the degree of freedom. The result indicated that:(1) The main factors that influence the quality of the Mo rod are the quality of the Mo powder and the sintering process. The sintering process had obvious effect on the grain number and the density of the Mo rod. Rising the sintering temperature will increase the density and decrease the grain number.(2) The quality of the Mo wire mostly related to the Mo rod. The effect of drawing technology is not significant. The grain number and the density of the Mo rod influence the drawing process. The constituent segregation,impurity content exceeding index, concentration of stress and the cracks caused the fracture of the Mo wire.(3) The best process in producing (?)48 Mo rod by large size powder is: Pressing process: pressure 190~200Mpa, dwell time 8min, unloading time 45s. Intermediate frequency sintering process: the most suitable temperature should be 1960±20°C.(4) In the production test, the rod produced in this process have high quality as requested, and the Mo wire producing process has high rate of finished product and good quality.
