Studies On Synthesis And Development Of New Cedryls

Cedryl was a very unique wood spice .It has the good stability and not easy to change.It has the soft-wook,long-lasting,strong sandalwood and peculiar Cedryl flavor. It was applied to the wood, the flower and the oriental flavor as a tune-agent or a fixing agent . Cedryl was widely used in spice products which were used in the tobacco,the leather, the soap as the additive agent.This paper was cedar oil as a raw material extraction and refining cypress wood alcohol, the simple extraction process research and temperament through the use of cypress wood alcohol for identification.Synthesis cedryl technology of Cedryl acetate and Cedryl propionate was researched and the best conditions was explored.Namely through the reaction time, temperature, catalyst and the amount of raw material consumption ratio and other factors was studied. Then all were orthogonal experimental design, experimental use of parallel orthogonal test results of the identification of stability.The main research results were as follows:1. Cedrol was distilled from cedar wood oil and refined. GC-MS were used to determine the structure and purity of refined cedar.using this method from the cedar wood oil could be used for preparation of Cedryl..2.Preparation of Cedryl acetate by acetic oxide: the ratio of raw material Cedrol and acetic oxide in the ratio of 1:1.2, the reaction temperature was 45℃, the reaction time was 8 hours, the multiplex catalyst 1ml was the best conditions. And by orthogonal test and stability test of the technology, the yield of Cedryl acetate achieved 94.63%. using IR and GC-MS on experimental products for qualitative analysis, Cedryl acetate structure was ture.
