Hydroxyapatite have widely foreground and market as new-style bone and dental replacement material owing to its excellent bioactivity, biocompatibility. With the development science and techonlogy, the serviceable range is being extended continually, hydroxyapatite with high purity, small size and special topography is urgent need.In this paper, rod-hydroxyapatite and microporous hydroxyapatite crystal was synthesized through Sol-Gel/Hydrothermal method and Hydrothermal process respectively; HAP/MMA-PSt polymeric adsorbent was synthesized via suspension polymerization and studied the absorbability to BSA.(1) Using P2O5 , Ca(NO3)2·4H2O as crude materials, absolute alcohol as solvent, the resultant gel precursors was obtained by adjusting pH. Hydroxyapatite were prepared by sol-gel synthesis and hydrothermal treatment approach. The phase composition and morphology of the combustion products and the powder by hydrothermal synthesis were investigated by XRD, FTIR and electron microscopy (SEM,TEM). The mechanism of the phase crystal forming was analyzed. Results show that the purity and topography of hydroxyapatite are effected by pH, combustion temperature and hrdrothermal process. rod-hydroxyapatite with high purity was obtained through hydrothermal process when the sample which was synthesized at pH=11.5 and combusted at 500℃. The synthesis method is of advantages to high purity and efficiency, and the gel precursors can combust at lower temperature fasterly, which takes advantage of Sol-Gel and hydrothermal method fully.(2)Microporous hydroxyapatite crystal has been synthesized using calcium nitrate and phosphorus oxide by hydrothermal method without any pore-forming material and template. The influences of several synthetic parameters have been analyzed in order to obtain microporous materials with surface areas and pore density as high as possible.. The characterization results from XRD,FTIR,TG-DTA and TEM indicate that the powder after hydrothermal treatment at 160℃for 8h exhibits single phase of HAP, and show that hydroxyapatite crystal is the hexagonal-dipyramidal phase with the average diameter of 60nm and 100nm in the average length. There are many micropores(1-2nm) in the crystal planes with hole density about 3×109/cm2. With the rising of ethanol, the morphology of HAP has been changed from hexagonal-dipyramidal shape to long rod. (3)HAP/PMMA-PSt polymeric adsorbent was synthesized via suspension polymerization and has also analyzed the influence of several synthetic parameters (Rotate speed, MMA contentration,HAP content,Surfactant concentration)on polymer composities and size. The result shows that the surfactant has influence on size distribution prominently, the yield of eligible ball is up to 86.4% when the surfactent is 1‰;the ball size become larger with the decrease of rotate speed and the amount of hydroxyapatite, and increases with the augment of MMA concentrations. The ball size effects the amount of hydroxyapatite in polymeric adsorbent, the less of ball size, the more the amount of hydroxyapatite.(4)The absorbability of polymeric adsorbent to BSA was studied through static adsorption, when the content of HAP is 30%, the adsorption quantity Qe=17.70mg/g, the increasing adsorption quantity is 3.65mg.
