In this dissertation, the Cu2O/ZnO compoud-loaded photocatalyst was prepared by a simple method and some typical dye wastewater as the study object was leading research direction. The results showed that this new type of catalyst was highly responsive to visible light. The main contents were presented as follows:1.The Cu2O/ZnO compound photocatalyst was prepared by "soak-deoxidize-air oxdation", taking ZnO as the carrier, and then characterize the as-synthesized samples by SEM, XRD et al. The results showed that Cu2O/ZnO type catalyst with best activity was obtained when the nCu2+: nZnO was 1:10 and n ZnO/ Cu2+:n水合肼was 1:3, drying 3h under 600C. The photocatalytic properties was better than ZnO particle, the same as pure Cu2O particle. The pellet of Cu2O/ZnO was easy to recycle and had high utilization ratio of photochemical catalysis with ZnO loading Cu2O, preventing the catalyat lossed.2.We used self-made Cu2O/ZnO type catalyst to decompose several common dificult degradation acid dyes and reactive dyes, such as Methyl blue, Methyl Orange, Reactive Turquoise blue KN-G, Reactive Brown KB-3R. We also discussed the effects of reaction time, amount of catalyst powder, pH of solution, and solution initial concentration on photocatalytic oxidation. The results showed CODCr removal rate of Methyl blue and Methyl Orange were over 92% and 40% respectively after 60min irradiation with incandescent lamps, and the decolorization rate were more than 96%. In addition, the CODCr removal rate of Reactive Brown KB-3R and Reactive Turquoise blue KN-G were 90% and 68% respectively after 80min, and the decolorization rate of Reactive Brown KB-3R was 95%, and Reactive Turquoise blue KN-G was over 88% repeating three times.3. According to the analysis of UV spectrum and Infrared spectrum, Dyes can be digested by the Cu2O/ZnO compound photocatalyst and the effect of the catalyst was better.4.The kinetics of photocatalytic decomposing dye wastewater with Cu2O/ZnO compoud photocatalyst was researched. The results showed that the kinetics about Reactive Turquoise blue KN-G was described as one-order reaction. The equation was ln(C0/Ct) = kt. Rate equation also obeyed Langmuir-Hinshelwood equation which is typical of multiphase photocatalytic kinetics equation. The equation was described as = 23.919 + 0.1666, its superficial reaction rate constant(k) was 6.0024(mg/L?min) and its superficial absorption balance constant(K) was 0.00697(L/mg).5. With Cu2O/ZnO as photocatalyst, we tested hydroxyl radical in this reaction on the basis of incandescent lamps irradiating and researched its mechanism. The results indicated that it was a heterogeneous hydroxyl radical oxidation with Cu2O/ZnO compound photocatalyst degradating of organic. The photocatalytic oxidation belong to hydroxyl radical reation and those radicals induced dyes degrade preferably.
