There are various allotropes of carbon element, like amorphous carbon, graphite and carbine. Recently, some different kinds of carbon have been prepared and discovered, such as Diamond-like carbon, glassy carbon, carbon fiber, fullerene and carbon nanotube et al. As an important member of fullerence family, nano-carbon particles have unique spherical in shape and concentric shells structure. In addition the graphite fragments occur remarkably curving . They have been the frontiers in the research field of nano-carbon science. Based on some special properties, many potential applications, such as energy materials, high-performance and high temperature wear-resistance materials, superconductive materials and biomaterials, have been proposed.Until today, the research fields of nano-carbon materials are primarily focused on fullerences,nanotubes and so on ,whose microstructures have high ordering in carbon atom. So do the study and preparation of nano-carbon materials by Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition method (PCVD). But theoretically, the carbon atom probably exists the gradual ordering and transition microstructure between the amorphous structure of carbon black and the high ordering structure of fullerences. Few papers have reported the nano-carbon material which has transition microstructure, so it has large research space.In this paper, the technical conditions of preparing nano-carbon particles by Radio-Frequency Plasma Vapor Deposition (RF-PCVD) are studied , then some methods of controlling the particles size and crystal type of nano-carbon particles are advised. And with the existent equipment prepare nano-carbon particles taking on various sizes by controlling the flow velocity of Ar gas as working gas in the system of C2H2 and C2H2+BCl3. First of all suggested the calculation result of thermodynamics, the reaction is feasible. And then the deoxidizing and carbonization mechanism of reaction is analyzed in this paper Finally the dynamics of the reaction process is studied, it is considered that it transits the following process: Crystal seeds formation, nucleation, collision and growing up, quencher and stop growing up. Finally characterized by TEM,HRTEM,BET,XRD,FTIR and XPS ,various aspects of the nano-carbon particles are analyzed in this paper, Such as their internal microstructure,particles diameters,specific surface area,surface functional groups and exterior elements.
