| In this thesis,the development of HPLC/MS and applications in analysis of chinese traditional medicine were reviewed.The following aspects were investigated:1.A HPLC/UV and a HPLC/MS methods for simultaneous determination of gentiopicrin and berberine in Shiwei Longdanhua Granule were established.The HPLC/UV method can be used to determinate the components in simple system. It is rapid,simple and practical.The HPLC/MS method is accurate,sensitive and suitable for the quality control of Shiwei Longdanhua Granule.2.A HPLC/MS method for simultaneous determination of chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid and ferulic acid in Pugongying Granule was established.The detection limits were 0.010,0.006 and 0.020μg·mL-1for chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid and ferulic acid,respectively.The average recoveries ranged from 96.3%to 102.0%.3.A HPLC/MS method for simultaneous determination of matrine,berberine, baicalin and indirubin in Guilin Watermelon Frost was established.The detection limits were 0.005,0.001,0.006 and 0.010μg·mL-1for matrine, berberine,baicalin and indirubin,respectively.The average recoveries ranged from 96.5%to 100.7%.4.A HPLC/MS method for simultaneous determination of five effective components in Qingrejiedu Oral Liquid was established.The detection limits were 0.010,0.005,0.001,0.002 and 0.003μg·mL-1for chlorogenic acid, geniposide,baicalin,forsythin and indirubin,respectively.The average recoveries ranged from 97.0%to 101.7%.5.A high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC/MS/MS)method for simultaneous determination of four effective components in Sijiganmao Capsule was established.The detection limits were 0.002,0.006,0.001 and 0.001μg·mL-1for prim-o-glucosylcimifugin,hesperidin, 5-o-methy visammioside and forsythin,respectively.The average recoveries ranged from 98.3%to 101.5%.
