| Automatic Gauge Control (AGC) system is an important part in automatic system in steel rolling plant. The classical control theory is based on accurate mathematic model. But because of the complexity of steel rolling process mechanism,it is difficult to build an exact mathematic model. Intelligent control technology is an effect way to solve the problem of automatic gauge control.In this paper the factors of influencing thickness are deeply analyzed and fuzzy control technology is used in automatic gauge control system .A method based on fuzzy PID control is presented. In AGC,fuzzy PID controller is constructed with a PID controller and a fuzzy regulator. According to input signals and their trends,the fuzzy regulator adjusts parameters of KP,KI and KD online through the decision gotten by fuzzy controlling system to make the object have good static and dynamic characters.At last the paper uses MATLAB/SIMULINK as a simulation tool to simulate the AGC. Based on the simulation results,the paper designs and develops a fuzzy control PID method. The simulation results demonstrate that the mathematical model presented by this paper is accurate and liable. The performance of fuzzy PID AGC excels that of PID AGC. |
