The rolling-ball bearing parts such as the balls, the bars and the bearing rings endure high concentrated and changing forces. While at high speed turning, the gliding exists. So it produces high friction. Because of this steel of bearing should have high hardness, wearable character and fatigue resistance ability. The nanometer diamond has the character of the super hard materials and nanometer particles. With the quality of decreasing the friction, self-lubrication, it will have wide use in tools, grinding, multiple plating, lubrication etc. If the nanometer diamond plating could be achieved, it will greatly enhance the ability of the bearing surface hardness and the anti-friction. So the wearing out of the surface could be reduced and the life span lengthened.The method for obtaining the plating is divided to two methods as the multiple-chemical plating and multiple-electrical sediment. The electrical plating or chemical plating is to add nanometer particles to the ordinary plating liquid, mix them round and make the nanometer-particles to deposit with the metal base together. And the multiple-plating layer is made out. It is called the nanometer-multiple plating layer. The multiple-electrical sediment plating is to deposit the inorganic particles, the organic particles and metal particles together with the metal to form a multiple plating layer. The multiple-electrical technology has developed in foreign countries for about 60~70 years whereas in it developed fast in recent 20 years.Nickel plating has widely used because of its good anti-eroding ability. And some special characterized nickel plating layer has even better anti-eroding ability. The nickel based nanometer multiple electrical plating will forwardly enhance the usage quality.In order to raise the hardness, wearable character and life span of the bearings, it designed a even experiment. In this article, it adopted that the nickel based nanometer diamond multiple-electrical plating technology to treat the bearing steel surface with the multi-factor level even experiments. It changes the process parameters to compare the experiments. The influences of size of the nanometer diamond particles, the mass concentration, the plating electricity density, plating liquid elements, temperature and the PH value and other factors etc in several levels under different groups are evaluated against the bearing steel surface quality, hardness, combination force and the metallographic organs and other plating quality factors. It analyses the dada in the experiments to find out the influence of the factors to the deposit rates and quality of the plating. It also is to find out the better process and the deficiency of this multiple-electrical plating.
